This is a group art piece that examines the disease studied by various groups in the Leader(s)/Patton team. In biology, students taught lessons to 9th grade students about the diseases. Students are also responsible for creating personal health plans that take in to consideration preventative
measures and heathy living. In humanities, students are exploring that disease and how it directly affects their family. They are currently doing a personal interview with a family member and creating an Oral History Piece. The art piece should represent scientific factual information about the disease as well as aspects of prevention. Students are taking in to consideration; composition, balance, color, and visual effects of text. These are acrylic paintings on wood.
